NDC Segments

Travelport+ can be used to book NDC or airline direct segments. DI lines (Travelport+) and remark lines (Apollo and Worldspan) are used to populate the NDC segment information in GlobalWare. Refer to NDC Bookings for information on how these bookings interface. Refer to NDC Considerations for the recommended workflow.

The examples below show DI lines from Travelport+.

• For Apollo, the DI.FT- prefix is replaced by T.

• For Worldspan, the DI.FT- prefix is replaced by 5.z as well as a -- at the end, which is joined with the next line due to the number of characters limitation.

DI Formats	Description
DI.SA-0001*SMITH/BREN	Required. Specifies account ID.
DI.X*VN016	Required. Specifies vendor override.
DI.X*NA	Required. Specifies invoice.
DI.X*OF-38.00USD*T5.60AY*T4.50XF	Required if there is no pricing record. Specifies fares. In this example, multiple currencies are used and multiple taxes. Other options include:  DI.X*OF-38.00*T10.10 - assumes USD and only the sum of all taxes is specified. DI.X*OF-48.10 - minimum data that assumes USD and only specifies the base fare.
DI.X*FPCK999	Required if there is no pricing record. Provides form of payment information.
DI.X*SUNDC BOOKING	The supplier override is not required but it is recommended so you can keep track of your NDC segments.
