Editing Savings Codes
Savings Codes distinguish various reasons for savings and lost savings for your corporate client reports. The codes are one to three alphanumeric characters. They are entered in the Savings and Lost Savings Code Fields on invoices. The codes are defined by the agency.
Defining savings codes is not required for running savings reports, but it is necessary if you want the description of the code to print on the reports.

On the Corporate submenu, click Edit Savings Codes.
The Edit Savings Codes screen appears.

To add, edit, or delete a savings code:
- To add a new code, enter the new code in the Code field and a description of the code in the Description field. When you are finished, click OK. The new code displays in the list of codes.
- To edit a code, double-click the code. The code and its description display in the fields below. Make any changes and then click OK. The changes display in the list.
- To delete a code, either tab to it or click on it. Press the Delete key. The code is deleted from the list.
- To generate a list of savings codes, click PRINT. For information about the report destination options, see Printing Overview.
- After you have finished, click the exit (
) icon or press Alt+X.
