Accounting for Checks
Each check generates a minus (credit) general ledger transaction to the selected bank account.
The branch of the offset general ledger transaction is the same as the item applied to, or the entered branch for general ledger checks. The offset transaction’s chart is as follows. (Unapplied funds, layaway, and gift certificate charts are set in System Control.)
