You can resize the GlobalWare dashboard panes, refresh the dashboard after making changes to it, and disable the dashboard by employee.
Resizing the dashboard panes
To resize panes on the GlobalWare dashboard:
-
Place the cursor in the space between panes. The cursor changes from an arrow to a resize icon (
).
- Click and drag to the desired size.
Refreshing the dashboard
Whenever you sign in to GlobalWare, the GlobalWare dashboard updates automatically with the most current information. However, you can refresh it at any time by pressing F5 while on the dashboard.
Note: Changes made to tasks listed in the GlobalWare Task List pane update automatically and do not require a manual refresh.
Disabling the dashboard
You can disable the GlobalWare dashboard by employee account ID. Retrieve the employee account ID on the Account ID screen and select the Disable Dashboard check box on the Edit Employee screen. The employee must close GlobalWare and sign in again to apply the dashboard change. For information about these screens, see Using the Account ID Screen and Edit Employee Screen.
While the Managed Links, GlobalWare Task List, and customizable panes are disabled, the GlobalWare menu and icon toolbar remain fully accessible.
To re-enable the employee's dashboard, clear the Disable Dashboard check box on the Edit Employee screen, close GlobalWare, and sign in again.
