Account IDs

The Account ID function accesses the Account ID (AccountId) table, which primarily stores names and addresses of customers, employees, providers, and vendors.

Note: Providers are companies that provide your customers with travel-related services, such as airlines, car companies, hotel chains and properties, tour companies, and cruise lines. Vendors are companies that provide your agency with non-travel related services and products, such as the telephone company, post office, or landlord.

The Account ID table also contains other valuable information that can help you manage your agency. The account ID uniquely identifies each account ID record in the Account ID table. Account IDs should be meaningful to your agency employees. These identifiers can have any combination of up to ten alphanumeric characters, and they can include hyphens (-), periods (.), and forward slashes (/). However, they cannot include space characters. For more information, see Account ID Overview.
