Public Fare quote
Fare quote assumptions
Travelport 360 Fares makes the following assumptions when you make a basic entry to request a fare quote:
-
All passengers in a booking file require a fare quote.
-
All passengers are adults (except infants identified as such in the name field and where a passenger type code is entered as a name remark)
-
All segments are to be quoted.
-
Sale and ticketing to take place in the country of your agency location.
-
Ticketing to take place on the same date as the fare is quoted, or within the guarantee limits.
-
A stopover is assumed where connections are 24 hours or more for international travel, and 4 hours or more if the journey is within North America.
-
Passengers are not exempted from ticketable taxes.
You can include fare quote modifiers with your fare quote entry to override any or all of these assumptions.
