Routing code

BSP Canada requires Routing Information and Type of Travel. The required code is two characters long.

Enter itinerary and purpose of travel codes (XX represent the itinerary and the purpose of travel)

The following are the approved itinerary codes:

Australia, New Zealand and the Islands of the Pacific including Hawaii, excluding Guam

Canada (wholly within Canada) or between Canada and St. Pierre et Miquelon.
The itinerary code 9 is added automatically for all Travel Agent Service Fee (TASF) transactions

Notes:

  • Codes 1-8 identify journeys TO and/or FROM the specific geographic area

  • Code 9 identifies journeys wholly within Canada/St. Pierre et Miquelon

  • For travel originating outside of Canada and/or the USA, the point of origin will determine the itinerary code (e.g., the second digit identifies the purpose of travel as follows):
