One-Way Component Shop (NZ and AU)

Overview

One-Way Component Shop is a powerful shopping service that supports comparison shopping displays in markets where one-way fares are prevalent, such as Australia and New Zealand domestic (including Trans-Tasman) routes. One-Way Component Shop enables fares from multiple carriers and different sources to be combined together with mixed fare classes. It also allows each travel direction to be offered separately.

One-Way Component Shop is available for specifically provisioned customers on Galileo (1G) and Airline Content Hub (ACH), and only for a Low Fare Shopping request having travel within or between Australia and New Zealand, although One-Way Component Shop may be sold outside of Australia and New Zealand to provisioned customers. For example, a Galileo customer in Singapore who is provisioned for One-Way Component Shop may want to request fares from Singapore to Melbourne then to Sydney.

Important! The Apollo (1V), and Worldspan (1P) providers do not support One-Way Component Shop.

Schema, Provider, and Carrier Availability

One-way, stand-alone air prices are returned for each origin to destination in a Low Fare Shopping (LowFareSearchReq) or Asynchronous Low Fare Shopping (LowFareSearchAsynchReq (v49.0 and earlier)) request that returns Air Price Points. Each fare that is returned can be ticketed by itself or shown separately if it is ticketed with another fare, allowing each origin and destination option to be displayed independently for:

In Air schema versions 23.0 and earlier, if a request was for a round-trip or multi-trip journey, each fare/flight option that was returned was for the entire journey.
