Adding and Removing Work Area Tabs

From the terminal window you can create additional work area tabs:

Click on the + symbol to add additional work area windows

or

Select the Terminal menu > New Terminal in Tab (or press Alt+N)

To remove a tab:

Click on the X symbol to close a work area tab.

or

Select the desired tab to be deleted. Click Terminal > Remove Current Terminal Tab (or press Alt+R)
