Smartpoint Desktop 12.0

Release Date: February 11, 2026

Please note that the Smartpoint 12.0 release currently available on a country-by-country basis. Depending on your country and PCC, you may see messages for a 30-day countdown to register for a MyTravelport account, if you do not already have an account.
If Smartpoint 12.0 is not visible on Travelport Marketplace or available for automatic update in Smartpoint, please contact your local Travelport office.

Download Updates

If your country or region is currently enabled for Smartpoint 12.0, downloads for Smartpoint 12.0 are available:

  • In Travelport Marketplace for:

    Note: Product pages in Travelport Marketplace are displayed only if you are logged in to Travelport Marketplace with MyTravelport credentials, and your agency's Smartpoint administrator has enabled download for your agency.

  • Beginning April 9, 2026, using automated alerts and Automatic Update Options for updates to existing installations. Note that these automated features must be enabled for your agency.

    Note: Downloads through automated alerts and updates are available on a country-by-country basis beginning on April 9. If automated updates are not available for your agency, please contact your local Travelport office.

Installation Updates

A new screen is added to the installation, which requires you to approve the requirement for a MyTravelport account for multi-factor authentication (MFA) sign on.

Tip! Please ensure that all Microsoft Windows device drivers are updated before installing Smartpoint Desktop.
Outdated device drivers can cause issues with some features and functionality, including the NDC plugin. For instructions and more information, see these options in the Microsoft Support site:

• Update drivers manually in Windows

• Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware

Note: Your agency may limit permissions to driver updates, or your agency’s technical support team may manage these updates. Be sure to confirm with your technical support team before updating.
