Selling Hotel Segments from Availability

After you select room and rate rules for a rate plan, you can sell the hotel segment for your selection.

Sell Request

There are two options for selling hotel rooms for the selected rate plan using Smartpoint screens:

• Advanced Sell, which allows you to add or change the booking information, such as adding a rollaway cot, changing the form of payment for a guarantee, or adding a special service request.
• Passive Sell, which creates a passive segment for hotel bookings made outside of the Travelport+ (1G) or Travelport Apollo (1V) systems.
