Flight Search in Smartpoint

The Flight Search is part of the Smartpoint v10.0+ installation for Travelport+ and Apollo. Worldspan customers will use Smartpoint 1P with the plugin. Users on Smartpoint Desktop version 10.0 and below who are not currently accessing any NDC offers and are therefore without the plugin but who are interested in accessing NDC content must upgrade to the latest Smartpoint version.

1. Launch the plugin from the Search icon or menu. For more information, refer to Access plugin.

2. The plugin window displays. You can customize the size of the pop-up screen and you can pin or unpin the left search panel display. On first opening, the plugin window launches to 80% of the size of the user's computer window size, to allow the user to still see Smartpoint Desktop behind it.

   Show size and pin options

   • Select the square icon to maximize the window; select the line icon to minimize the window.

     

   • Select the icon to zoom in on the content. Select the icon to zoom out. The plugin retains the zoom size from the previous session.

   • Select the pin icon to pin or unpin the side panel. When the pin is dark and pointing straight down , the panel displays. When the pin is light gray , the panel is hidden when the mouse moves away from the side panel. When the panel is unpinned and hidden, select the Search icon to display the panel.

3. Enter trip details into the search window.
