Notepad

Notepads can be added using the script under CREATE/EDIT BOOKING FILE REMARKS and choose OTHER REMARKS.

Create notepad field

(Max. 87 characters; max. items 999.)

Format	Explanation
NP.TEXT	Create a notepad item. Will not show in history of the booking file when deleted.
NP.**BUSINESS CLASS ONLY	Notepad+ remark, will be automatically placed on the first line of the notepad field. Single item field.
NP.C**TEXT	Create a Confidential notepad item. Notes: Confidential notepad items can only be viewed by the owner (i.e. the creating agency) of the Booking File. Non owing PCCs will see the message "CONFIDENTIAL" when accessing the Notepad field. Confidential notepad items can only be added by the Booking File owner PCC. Non owning PCCs will receive the error "RESTRICTED" if attempting to add a Confidential notepad item. Confidential notepad items will not fall in the history of the PNR when removed.
NP.H**TEXT	Create a notepad that will be saved in the history of the booking file when removed.
NP.HX*TEXT	Historical notepad with additional qualifier.
NP.F**VI4444333322221111 EXP 11/27 USE FOR HOTELS	Add credit card information in Notepad field. Number is hidden after the booking file is closed. Note: The vendor type, last 4 positions and expiration date and any other free form information will be unmasked after closure of the booking.
NP.**BUSINESS CLASS ONLY	Notepad remark, will be automatically placed in the first line of the notepad field.
NP.VIEWTRIPNET	Suppress fare information in ViewTrip (#VT).
NP.VIEWTRIPITIN	Suppresses all fare information, forms of payments, and endorsements in ViewTrip.
NP.VTEMATTACH:I	Will attach the itinerary as PDF when sending an itinerary via EM, EMALL, ERM, ERMALL or ELM.
NP.VTEMATTACH:T	Will attach the as PDF when sending an itinerary via EM, EMALL, ERM, ERMALL or ELM.
NP.VTEMATTACH:IT	Will attach the itinerary and E-Ticket as PDF when sending an itinerary via EM, EMALL, ERM, ERMALL or ELM.
NP.VTEMATTACH:ITE	Will attach the itinerary, E-Ticket and Expense Report as PDF when sending an itinerary via EM, EMALL, ERM, ERMALL or ELM.
NP.D*TEXT	Create a notepad item with D qualifier. Qualifiers to be defined by the agency.
NP.HG*TEXT	Create a Historical notepad item with G qualifier. Qualifiers to be defined by the agency.
NP.CM*TEXT	Create a Confidential notepad with qualifier M. Qualifiers to be defined by the agency.
NP.VM*TEXT	Create a notepad item with VM as double qualifier. Qualifiers to be defined by the agency.

Display notepad

Notes:

Any letter may be used to qualify a notepad item in order to group items together.
All notepad entries are stamped with a system generated Agent's Sign on, Date and Time stamp. If the text in the notepad wraps around, then these details are shown in the second line of text.
Historical notepad items are recorded in History only on change or deletion of an item, not on addition.
Confidential notepad items are ONLY displayed to the owner (i.e. the creating agency) of the booking file.
Confidential notepad items will not fall in the history of the booking.
Although most keyboard characters are accepted in the entry, except ^, +, ; and @, most special characters will not show in the Notepad field in the PNR. Instead a Question mark is shown.
