2026 Release Notes

July 2026

  • Improved flight search to ensure results load correctly as users scroll, allowing all available options to be viewed without applying airline filters.

  • Improved error response messaging to provide more contextual details when adding or replacing a rental car booking fails to complete.

  • When the user starts a fresh search flow OR start-over flow, the system will now check the existing itinerary to determine if it has expired. If it has expired, a new flow should be initiated, reducing some instances of "Something went wrong".

  • Improved caching of airline and rental car logos to ensure vendor logos are displayed properly in search results.

  • In the user profile and checkout pages, gender options have been updated to remove "Non-Binary". It will now be displayed as "Unspecified" with no change to how the data is passed into the PNR.

  • Travelport+ & Apollo Only - Improved our hotel chain mapping logic to ensure the correct hotel chain as part of the hotel sell format in the GDS. This is particularly impactful for Hilton International properties but also benefits additional chains as well.

  • Amadeus Only - Resolved issue where the wrong refundability badge was being shown at reprice or Trip Details.

  • Travelport+ Only – Added ability to purchase paid seats for Android and Apple iOS mobile users. Also added the ability to add paid seats to an existing booking.

  • Apple iOS Mobile Only – Realigned the seat map flow to be more in line with how seats are selected on the desktop.

June 2026

  • NEW FEATURE RELEASE – Paid Seats for Travelport+

    • Available for Travelport+ users only

    • Seat maps have been updated to identify Paid Seat options and display the cost to the user prior to selection.

    • In when viewing trip details on the Review Trip, Trip Details, Trip Confirmation pages, you will now see a new ‘Extras’ section. This will highlight the cost of any seats selected and add those to the trip cost.

    • This is currently only available at the time of booking on the desktop.

      • Post-booking workflows will come in a later release.

      • Mobile booking workflows (Android & Apple iOS) will come in a later release.

  • The final UI updates have been made in support of Marine Fares.

  • Mobile – Apple iOS mobile users will now see hotel taxes & fees throughout the shopping and booking process (version 1.107).

  • Sabre Only - Resolved the issue where Delta Comfort fares were not being displayed in the flight search results.

  • Improved search results when searching roundtrip or multiple destination to provide a wider range of options to the user.

  • Resolved issue where an error was received when searching for hotels in some India locations.

  • StudioRes hotel chain is now recognized as part of the Marriott Bonvoy family. This applies to both brand filters during a search as well as loyalty association in the user profile and checkout.

  • Improved air sort order functionality to align with the options available on the Classic platform.

    • When Display Config is set to “Policy/Preferred” and Service rules have both Air Preference and Travel Policy set. Flight search results default to “Sort by Company Policy”.

    • When Display Config is set to “Policy/Preferred” and Service rules have an Air Preference set. Flight search results are defaulted to “Sort by Preferred”.

    • When Display Config is set to “Policy/Preferred” and Service rules don’t have both Air Preference and Travel Policy set. Flight search results are defaulted to “Sort by Price”.

    • No changes were made when the sort is set to Cost, Departure and Duration settings.

May 2026

  • NEW FEATURE RELEASE – Support for Marine Fares

    • Available for Sabre and Travelport+ customers.

    • Allows the ability to configure your search to surface and easily identify Marine fares using the passenger type code (PTC) SEA.

    • Configurable custom label in the Partner Dashboard for easy identification.

    • While this update was specific to Marine Fares, it can also be used for any PTC code.

    • If questions or assistance is needed, please open a support ticket for assistance.

  • Sabre Only - We are now passing the airline's brand code as part of the seat map request to ensure the correct seat entitlements and availability are displayed.

  • Updated our database to correctly display Fiji Airways in our system. The updates include the airline name, logo, and loyalty associations.

  • We have updated our hotel chain mapping to reflect citizenM hotel as part of the Marriott Bonvoy super brand.

  • Improved hotel cancellation display to ensure consistent information is displayed in all areas. Note no updates will be made in the classic platform.

  • Users are now able to add a hotel in combination with a virtual payment card to an existing air booking.

April 2026

  • Sabre Only - Resolved issue where users received an error when a loyalty number was passed as part of the seat request. This was primarily impacting American Airlines and United Airlines.

March 2026

  • Travelport+ & Apollo Only - Resolved an issue booking hotels when the rate changed mid-stay. This issue is no longer occurring and users should be able to book hotels with rate changes.

  • In the Partner Dashboard, the verbiage regarding One-Way Shopping Ticketing Preferences has been updated to eliminate confusion.

February 2026

  • Travelport+ Only - Resolved an issue booking hotels when the rate changed mid-stay. This issue is no longer occurring and users should be able to book hotels with rate changes.

  • Resolved UI issue where the Total Fare breadcrumb was showing an incorrect journey fare during the flight search.

January 2026

  • Improved Dynamic Air Policy adjustments for alternate airports.

  • To improve clarity, unticketed trips in the trip summary will now show “Due Today” instead of “Paid.” This update applies to both new bookings and changes.

  • Removed Covid-19 data from SafetyCheck details during hotel search.

  • Travelport GDS's Only - Added additional hotel rate keywords to better identify when a deposit (DPST) format should be passed for hotels.

  • Resolved: When flight search is altered mid-booking, the correct fare brand information remains consistent with initial search.

  • Resolved: We are now displaying accurate sustainability numbers for code share flights.
