Settings

The General Settings window is used to modify your preferences, such as preferred language, terminal settings, notepad background color, profile format, and automatic received from initials.

Preferred language

  1. Select the Settings () icon in the lower left corner of the window.

  2. In the Settings window, select the General Settings tab.

  3. In the General section, choose your preferred language.

  4. Select Save.

The Smartpoint Cloud graphical interface applies the preferred language to menus and labels. The terminal window is not affected.

Terminal settings

The Terminal section lets you choose a keyboard mapping, select a secondary language and enable cryptic translation, and choose a default terminal theme and font size.

  1. Select the Settings () icon in the lower left corner of the window.

  2. In the Settings window, select the General Settings tab.

  3. In the Terminal section, select a keyboard mapping then select the language you wish to translate (the one that will be used to enter cryptic commands).

    Important: Not every cryptic entry has a translation. The translation tools provides translations for basic entries.

  4. Select the Enable cryptic language translation option.

  5. Select Save.

You can also turn on/off keyboard mapping and set your language translation using a cryptic entry in a terminal window.

#TRANSLATE WORLDSPAN

Sets your secondary language to Worldspan and turns on translation.

#TRANSLATE STATUS

Check the status of the cryptic translation service. The status indicates whether the translation service is on and identifies the secondary language.

#TRANSLATE OFF

Turns off the translation service.

#TRANSLATE ON

Turns on the translation service.

#KEYBOARD WORLDSPAN

Change your keyboard mapping (for example, to Worldspan).

#KEYBOARD OFF

Turn off keyboard mapping and return to the default keyboard mapping.

Default terminal theme and font size

  1. Select the Settings () icon in the lower left of the main window or from the Tools menu and Custom Shortcuts panel.

  2. Select the General Settings tab.

  3. Choose a default terminal theme. This theme is used any time a new terminal window is opened. You can change the color of individual windows by selecting the ellipses button then Color theme.

  4. Select a terminal font size.

  5. Select Save.

Notepad color

  1. Select the Settings () icon in the lower left of the main window or from the Tools menu and Custom Shortcuts panel.

  2. Select the General Settings tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Notepad section and select your preferred notepad background color.

  4. Select Save.

Profile format

  1. Select the Settings () icon in the lower left of the main window or from the Tools menu and Custom Shortcuts panel.

  2. Select the General Settings tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Profiles section.

  4. By default, Enhanced view is turned on, which displays profile information in an easier to read format. Turn this option off to display the content as it is stored in the terminal.

  5. Select Save.

Received from

You can specify an auto received from value.

  1. Select the Settings () icon in the lower left of the main window or from the Tools menu and Custom Shortcuts panel.

  2. Select the General Settings tab.

  3. Scroll down to the Booking Files section and enter initials you want automatically added to the booking file.

  4. Select Save.
