Fare display

A fare display returns all published fares between two cities, based on the date entered, regardless of their availability.

If you don't specify one way (OW) or round-trip (RT) in the fare display format, you will see both types of fares if they exist on the route. In this case, fares which may be sold on a one-way or round-trip basis will always be displayed at the one-way (half round-trip) value.

Travelport+ fare systems are automated. The fares used are not Travelport+ fares, but industry fares supplied via Travelport systems.

In Travelport+ fare displays:

  • Fares are displayed in strictly low-to-high order

  • When one carrier's fare is identical to another, the display will be random on subsequent entries

The basic fare display request assumes the following conditions:

  • One adult passenger

  • The ticketing date is the current date

  • Selling and ticketing occurs based on the location where the workstation is registered

  • The booking date is the current date

  • All carrier fares are requested
