Reviewing Terminal History

Terminal Response History allows you to move between the five previous terminal responses.

Each time that you select Response History Back, the screen goes back one terminal response.
If you have already gone back, you can select Response History Forward to go forward in the terminal responses.

If you select Response History Back more than five times, the display loops back to the most recent terminal response. Only terminal window responses are displayed; responses from intuitive screens or plug-ins are not displayed.

To review the terminal response history:

From an active terminal window, either:

Use key commands:
Press ALT+UP ARROW for Response History Back.
Press ALT+UP ARROW for Response History Forward.
Classic Windows. Click the HISTORY menu to select the forward or backward option.
