Distributing Custom Calendar Files

If an Agency chooses to distribute the calendar file with an installation, they will need to distribute the files to a pre-determined location. This pre-determined location is set in the configuration file Travelport.Smartpoint.config and is set in the configuration property “CalendarPreloadEventFilesFolder”.

Absolute Path: e.g., C:\Program Files\(x86)\AXESS\CalendarPreloadFIles

Relative Path: e.g., Calendar\PreloadEventFiles

If a Relative Path is used, the path will point to the App Data\Roaming folder of the logged in user.

Using the Relative Path example above the calendar events csv file would have to be installed to: C:\Users\[agentuserid]\AppData\Roaming\Axess\ Calendar\PreloadEventFiles

The default setting in the Travelport.Smartpoint.config file is set to Calendar\PreloadEventFiles. Without changing the setting the calendar event files would have to be placed in C:\Users\[agentuserid]\AppData\Roaming\Axess\ Calendar\PreloadEventFiles in order to load automatically.
