Sequencing order

Net Fare Manager Sequence

Net Fare Manager includes the unique sequencing addition of account code override. The account code override is always checked first as part of the sequencing process. There are 4 options that are taken into consideration available from the Net Fare Manager Global Selling Level screen.

  • O – Applied when the supplier adds an account code and/or selects the no account code check box from the Airline Net Fare Match Criteria area and selects the No Account Code and/or New Account Code options from the Net Fare Manager Account Code.

  • Z – Applied when the supplier adds an account code and/or selects the no account code check box from the Airline Net Fare Match Criteria area and selects the Use Airline Account Code option from the Net Fare Manager Account Code.

  • N – Applied when the supplier does not add an account code and/or selects the no account code box from the Airline Net Fare Match Criteria area and selects the No Accounts Code and/or New Account Code options from the Net Fare Manager Account Code.

  • Y – Applied when the supplier does not add an account code and/or selects the no account code check box from the Airline Net Fare Match Criteria area and selects the Use Airline Account Code option from the Net Fare Manager Account Code.

Numeric Values

Fare Basis Code or Fare Family

The fare basis code or family numeric value is always the first numeric value (except for Net Fare Manager where the unique Account Code override is the first value) in the sequence number. The Fare Basis Code, being the most specific, has a value of 1. The fare family value can be 2 through 8; the numeric value depends on how many characters have been entered into the fare family. The fare family examples below illustrate the associated numeric value.

Specific fare families with more letters (more specific) sort higher than fare families with fewer. More letters to the left of the asterisk are more specific (e.g., YR* is more specific than Y*R and A* is more specific than *A).

Location

Location values follow the Fare Basis Code/Family (and Account Code Override for Net Fare Manager). Net Fare Manager includes airline-filed ATPCO/SITA zones, calculated contracts, and standard contracts with zones when add-ons are not permitted, including Agency Private Fare user-created zones.

The locations are numbered 01 up to 36, depending on what locations can be filed. For example Airport to Airport is 01, and No locations (Blank to Blank) is the highest value.

Season Type

For Agency Private Fares sequencing, the Season Type value follows the Location value.

  • Season Type applies = 1

  • No Season Type applies = 9

Ticketing Details OW/RT

For Agency Private Fares sequencing, the Ticketing Details OW/RT value follows the Season Type value.

  • OW = 1

  • RT = 2

  • OW/RT = 9

Direction

For Net Fare Manager, the Direction value follows the Locations value.

  • From = 1

  • To = 2

  • Left blank = 9

Cabin Type

For Net Fare Manager, the Cabin Type value follows the Direction value.

  • Premium First = 1

  • First = 2

  • Business = 3

  • Premium Economy = 4

  • Economy = 5

  • No cabin type applies = 9

OW/RT

For Net Fare Manager, the OW/RT value follows the Cabin Type value.

  • OW = 1

  • RT = 2

  • OW/RT = 9

PTC

For Net Fare Manager, the PTC value follows the OW/RT value.

  • When PTC is applied = 1

  • No PTC = 9

Sequencing Example

If the Net Fare Manager sequence number is 11039521, the following sequencing applies:

1 = Account Code override

1 = Fare Basis code filed

03 = Airport to Airport locations

9 = Direction (left blank)

5 = Economy Cabin type

2 = RT

1 = PTC added
