Existing Selling Levels Inbox

The Existing Selling Levels search results screen displays a list of all Carrier, Tariff, and Rules with selling levels set by the supplier. The status displayed could be selling or updated. If the status is selling, the supplier has the option of updating the Carrier, Tariff, Rule or deleting all selling levels. If the status is updated, they additionally have the option of ignoring the update. When the update is ignored, the status reverts to selling.

The status displays how the selling level was created.

  • indicates a detailed selling level.

  • indicates a global selling level.

  • indicates that the selling levels and distribution groups for that tariff/rule have been defined automatically based on an Agency Rule.

When the Update Selling Level button is selected, the applicable update screen displays. For Category 25 tariffs the status is followed by an asterisk – SELLING*, UPDATED*.

When the status is Updated, hovering over the status displays the type(s) of update the carrier has made.

  1. To update a selling level from this page, check the box in the first column of the item to be updated, then click the Update Selling Level button.

  2. Modify as needed, then click Commit to update the database.

If the status of a selling level is Updated, you can select that line and click Ignore to ignore the update filed by the carrier and remove this item from the list. When Ignore is applied, the display is updated so that the Ignored items no longer display. The tariff will not be displayed in the Inbox unless the airline makes another update to the tariff.

To delete all selected selling levels, click the Delete All Selling Levels button. All Net Fare Manager fares will be removed from the GDS. The tariff and rule will display in the Inbox with a status of New.
