Net Fare Manager/Selling Fare Manager Global Distribution Group
Net Fare Manager uses distribution groups to determine who has the ability to sell and ticket Carrier Tariff and Rule NFM/SFM selling fares.
The distribution of Carrier Tariff and Rule NFM/SFM selling fares are based on:
-
Travel agency – distribute to specific Pseudo City Code (PCC) or IATA Number(s).
-
Geography – distribute fares to all GDS Agencies in a geography (City Code, Country code, state/province)
-
Travel agency and geography – distribute to specific PCC/IATA Number(s) within a specific geographic area.
In addition, the security level for the organization/location must be chosen. If you have Net or Net and Selling fares, at least one location must be given ticketing authority to see the net level in Travelport+ or Worldspan.

Security Levels
For each global distribution group created, the security levels for that distribution group must be set. If no options are selected, the location(s) have view authority only. The authority to sell and ticket must be contained in the same distribution group.
Note: Apollo does not differentiate between Sell and Ticket. If an agency/geography is given Sale authority, they can both sell and ticket.
The security levels available are as follows:
-
Sell – Select this field to allow the specified agencies/geographies to see Sell fare levels. If this field is selected and Ticket is not selected, the specified agencies/geographies cannot see the Net fare levels or Ticket fare data and cannot issue a ticket.
Important! The Apollo GDS does not differentiate between sell and ticket. Only data in the Sell field is validated. Agencies/geographies MUST have Sale permission, or they cannot sell or ticket.
-
Ticket – Select this field to allow the specified agencies/geographies to issue the ticket. If this field is selected and Sale is not, the specified agencies/geographies cannot quote or sell the fare, and they require a filed fare to issue the ticket. However, they can see Net fare levels.
Important! The Apollo GDS does not differentiate between sale and ticket. Only data in the Sale field is validated. Agencies/geographies MUST have Sale permission, or they cannot sell or ticket.
Distribution Group Sorting
After a distribution group has been created and subsequently displayed, it will be sorted in GDS and then numeric and/or alpha order within type. Pseudo cities are sorted in alpha/numeric order, IATA numbers in numeric order and geographies in alpha order. When both pseudo cities and IATA number exist, the pseudo cities precede the IATA numbers. If they also include Geography, the sort is alpha/numeric by the pseudo city, numeric for the IATA numbers, then alpha for the geography.
