Schedules: Queue Manager Migration Wizard

Worldspan: Not available to Worldspan users.

Queue Control Console has a migration wizard to assist existing XML queue manager users to easily migrate to Queue Control Console in the agency menu.  The migration wizard has the capability to completely import existing queue manager settings as well as taskmain, mapping and distribute evenly files to Queue Control Console via the creation of the following via a zip file.  A successful migration will result in the creation of schedules, actions, criteria, and handlers depending on the configuration, taskmain, and mapping files if applicable.

Queue Manager Migration Wizard File Upload

To access the Queue manger wizard, click the Schedules tab, then click the Queue manager migration wizard button at the top of the Schedules table. If you do not have access to this option, contact your Travelport representative.

Files must be uploaded in a specific manner. The on-screen instructions provide details of how to upload files.

Upload the entire relevant files in a single folder (sub-folders are not allowed) in .zip format. The files have to be uploaded separately in one of the three configurations for either 1G or 1V as shown below. If there is more than one configuration or if there is more than one GDS instance, please upload the files as separate instance in the wizard. For example, a Queue Manager user belonging to an Agency (on 1G) must upload the files in three separate file upload instances for handling the Distribute PNRs evenly, Moving un-ticketed PNRs and the Application default functionality. In order to achieve the same for 1V, another three instances of file upload must be made in the Queue Manager migration wizard.

Ensure that all the XML files are adhering to the current XML queue manager standards.

Distribute Evenly Configuration (1G or 1V)

  • Travelport.QueueManager.exe.Config

  • DistributeEvenly.xml

Application Default Configuration (1G or 1V)

  • Travelport.QueueManager.exe.Config

  • Your taskmain xml file

  • All Mapping xml files specified in your taskmain xml file

For non-Smartpoint users, note the two-char SINE in the mapping xml file is to be replaced by the complete Sign-On. No change in SINE is required for Smartpoint users of Queue Manager.

Move Un-ticketed PNRs Configuration (1G)

  • Travelport.QueueManager.exe.Config

  • Your taskmain xml file
