Advanced Robotic Ticketing Overview

Advanced Robotic Ticketing allows you to automate part of your ticketing operations by creating rules for how and when tickets are issued.

You can monitor one or more queues for booking files to be actioned. The booking files can be sent through a criteria engine that allows only booking files that meet specific requirements (such as all fares guaranteed, no infant passengers, etc.) to be actioned.

Advanced Robotic Ticketing lets you extend Queue Control Console by adding custom handlers. These can be written in any language supporting Microsoft .NET Framework and will be called for each booking file on a queue allowing for easy customisation unique to customer requirements. For example, you could create a handler that:

  • Moves tickets automatically to different queues based on travel date or creating agent.

  • Emails clients with schedule changes and automatically accepts schedule changes shorter than a specific time frame.

Availability

Once a Schedule has been created, you can create a new ticketing action using Advanced Robotic Ticketing. This option is available across all regions. However, this option is only available if it has been enabled for your agency and the access method configured for the agency is Galileo.
