Multi-Organization Settings
Available to: Airline Managers, Agency Managers, Developer Administrators, Distributor Administrator
For a multi-organization (multi-org), the multi-org’s Administrator can specify the permissions of other Administrators and the types of cases that users can view. To modify a user’s settings, refer to Manage Users.
If your organization has a Master Customer Number (MCN), then your organization has multiple customer numbers (CIDBs) under a master account. The master customer’s Administrator can make changes to MyTravelport that affect users across the organization, assign Administrators to each Customer Identification Number (CIDB), and modify MyTravelport user roles across the organization.
Setting up or removing a multi-org
If an organization joins MyTravelport with an MCN and CIDBs, it is automatically set up as a multi-org. If an organization is a single org and then adds a new branch, the first org will have their CIDB converted to an MCN in Travelport’s business systems. The new CIDB is then controlled by the MCN.
A second option is if the existing CIDB is not converted to an MCN, then the new CIDB is set up but not linked to the existing CIDB. In this case, the Admin contacts MyTravelport, requesting to be set up as the Admin for the new CIDB.
If you have a multi-org setup and want to change it to single org, contact MyTravelport.
Multi-org user settings
Within a multi-org environment, you may set up some users to be administrators for a single CIDB or for multiple CIDBs within the MCN. You may also set up users to view only their own CIDB's cases or to view cases across multiple CIDBs. These settings are located in Manage Users.
