Sandbox developers are created when a user clicks the Try it now button from the SOAP XML API product page. Sandbox developer users have access to online help search, and knowledge base search. The product page for their trial indicates the number of trial days left. From this page, users can schedule an introductory call.
-
Developer users can create cases and can search both the knowledge base and online help. From the Developer tools menu, select your product.
-
Developer administrators have the functionality of a developer user. They can also manage users and grant access to external users.
-
Distribution customer developer user should be provisioned by a distributor or a distributor customer developer administrator. They can create API cases and have access to the knowledge base and profile settings.
-
Distributor customer developer administrator should be provisioned by a distributor. This user is a distributor's customer that can create only API cases and can add developer users.
