Payment Card Authorization with 3DS

Optionally, you can send the Payment Card Authorization request with agency-generated 3-D Secure authentication. 3-D Secure is an authenticated payment system designed to protect consumers from fraudulent transactions when making online transactions.

The Payment Card Authorization service allows you to pass the agency-generated 3-D Secure data elements (ECI, cAVV, xID, and uCAFIndicator) to the authorization vendor for processing. At time of ticket settlement Travelport will pass the 3-D Secure transaction results to ARC, thereby mitigating the agency risk of fraud.

Currently only Visa and MasterCard support liability shift for travel agents authenticating on a merchant other than the settlement merchant.
The Postman examples have been removed while the Pay API undergoes updates. Updated examples will be added soon.

Contact your Travelport representative for endpoints for the Pay APIs.
