Getting Started

This online help provides three general types of topics:

  1. Guides provide a functional overview and basic usage information for the APIs used in each functional area of air travel, such as shopping, booking, and ticketing. Start with guides to learn more about air travel development or the general capabilities of the JSON APIs.

  2. API References provide examples and object-level details for every JSON API. Start if you're ready to code, or have a question about specific objects in an API.

  3. Workflow diagrams provide an overview of how the JSON APIs are linked together in workflows of required and optional calls. These diagrams can help you decide which workflows to implement for your needs.

Versioning

The JSON APIs are numbered by the {year of release}.{ODM model version}.{release version}. This online help covers v11 of all JSON Air APIs, e.g., AirPrice release 25.11.45, Search 24.11.38, etc.
