Maintaining Travel and Customer Types
You can add, change, and delete travel and customer types.
Adding a Travel or Customer Type
To add a customer or travel type:
- From the System menu, select Travel/Customer/Revenue Types.
- Click the Customer tab to add a customer type or the Travel tab to add a travel type.

To add a new type, click ADD. Enter the one-character type code in the left data entry field and the description (up to 10 characters) in the right field.

- Click SAVE.
Editing a Travel or Customer Type
To change a customer or travel type, type in the field in the browse window. After you have made all needed changes, select SAVE.

Note: Customer billing statements and finance charges/discounts are run for customer type B (business) only.
Deleting a Travel or Customer Type
You cannot remove a customer or travel type if there are invoices using that revenue type. You cannot remove a travel type if there is a revenue type associated with it.
To delete a customer or travel type:
- On the Travel/Customer/Revenue Types screen, click the Customer tab to delete a customer type or the Travel tab to delete a travel type.
- Select the type and click DELETE (or press Ctrl+Delete). A message appears, asking you to confirm deleting the type. Click OK.
- Click Exit to close the Travel/Customer/Revenue Types screen.
