Introduction to Groups

GlobalWare's group functionality enables you to handle group travel arrangements by:

• Tracking each passenger who signs up for a group travel package
• Tracking sales, passenger payments, and payments to providers for each group
• Billing passengers for their purchases
• Generating passenger and financial reports for in-house accounting and provider services

Group functionality receives information from the interface and GlobalWare accounting functions. Because these functions update data related to groups, data entry for groups is minimal.

GlobalWare handles and accounts for group ARC and non-ARC transactions so you can include tickets in a package price and print the tickets when you want. The ARC report and the ARC payables account in the general ledger will be correct.
