Task: Update Invoice Fare Mod

This task specifies that the invoice fare has been updated since the fare was filed. Usage is dependent on the local BSP Nett Remittance scheme. When selection is made, the currency is taken as the local currency.

The user should have an understanding of Ticketing, Reservations, and Fare Quote. The user should also have knowledge of the BSP for the particular pseudo is a must, because the usage (IF Modifier) is dependant on the local BSP net remittance scheme.

BSP CGNR Rules permits the application of the IF Modifier for a particular BSP. After the BSP permits the modifier, it works on all the pseudo cities under that BSP.

Section 2: Detailed Description

Request:

The following steps are required to carry out this task:

  1. Create a Booking File.
  2. Send the fare number in the DPFI KLR.
  3. Send the Invoice Fare Modifier in the DP38 KLR.

Prerequisite tasks:

A Booking File with fares must be present in AAA.

Expected response:

The response <UpdateModifiers> includes the <FareNumInfo> (which indicates the fare relationship) and the <DPOK> sub-elements.

Error and warning responses:

If there is an error, it is sent back in the <ErrText> of the <UpdateModifiers> element.

Reason for Error

ERROR 8502 - NF INVALID MODIFIER.

This error is generated when the modifier is not applicable to a particular pseudo city.
