Car Inclusion Codes

Car Inclusion Codes can be returned in CarStandardAvail responses. These codes are used by vendors to indicate accessories, taxes, surcharges/fees, or coverage that are included in the approximate total. Vendors can specify up to four inclusion codes, such as collision damage waiver (CDW) and airport surcharges. As these codes indicate items that are included in the approximate total, no currency or value is associated with these codes.

Inclusion codes are returned in the <CarDetail> section of the response. See the Message Example below.

Car Inclusion Codes

Most codes in the range of 1-99 indicate accessories that may be included in the approximate total.
