Image Viewer Response

The Image Viewer response always contains either the Property ID(s) that were requested or an error response. As with the request, all image and/or hotel description items are included in a single response.

Image Responses

If images were requested, the number and type of image URLs in the response depends on the request. The request could be for all images, images of a specific size, the image gallery, a virtual tour, or the signature images. If images for multiple properties were requested, the image information for each property is contained within the <Property> and </Property> tags. Each sample contains both the request and response. Additionally, the URLs can be secured (https) or unsecured (http) depending on the setting in the request.

Description Responses

If hotel descriptions were requested, the response is text-only, and is included in the <Description> element. General information, keyword descriptions, or a list of available keywords can be combined in the response. If a check-in date, <StartDate>, was included in the request, the response will include a hotel description valid for that date.

If data is not available for a specific keyword in the request, such as meal plans or facilities, no error response is sent from the CRS. The response will simply not include an element for that keyword. In some cases, the response text indicates that no information is available for that keyword.
