Host Interaction

The Hotel Image Service does not interact with the Galileo or Apollo host CRS when requesting URLs or images. However, if the user requests hotel description information, the CRS is used. For hotel description requests, the following XML Select Web Service transactions are made:

• If General Information is requested for a property, one Hotel Description 5.0 call is made.

• If Available Keywords are requested for the property, one Hotel Description 5.0 call is made.

• If both General Information and Available Keywords are requested, two Hotel Description 5.0 calls are made.
