This new version of GPM.NET will read the existing host.config file configuration set by the existing users and display the host information in the Print Manager Configuration window. It will not make any changes to exiting host.config. Note for LCN (Private Data Circuit/VPN Users): Once the data is over the client network, Travelport has no control over the data and it is the user’s responsibility to protect the data. In a multi-user environment, do not automatically start GPM.net Service monitor when Windows starts. |
When GPM.net is installed, by default the GPM.net Service Monitor (TPMServiceMonitor.exe) will be placed in the Windows start up directory C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp. This will automatically start the GPM.net Service monitor anytime Windows starts. GPM.net Service monitor can only be used to monitor the GPM.net Service by one Windows user on any given computer at a time. Only one user can start the GPM.net Service monitor. The next user to start it on the same computer receives the Trace Warning: “Cannot listen on pipe name ‘net.pipe://127.0.0.1/”. Refer to Issues Related to GPM.NET Service for detailed instructions on how to adjust the auto-start settings. |
