Release Notes: 1.5.3.3

Functional Updates

Update Detailed Description
Defect Fixes

The following defect fixes are in this release:

  • Galileo Print Manager.net now connects multiple client IDs in customer-managed VPN when Galileo SSL support is disabled in the Host.config file (InternalSSLSupport key value set to “false”).
  • Galileo Print Manager.net now prints tickets without restarting the service when a GPDS device status is “Inhibited”. For more details, see Error Occurs When Rail Device Status Is "Inhibited" in the "Issues Related to GPDS" topic in the help system.
  • Fixed thumbprint conflict between Galileo Print Manager.net and Smartpoint/Galileo Desktop with Galileo SSL running on the same system.
  • Updated thumbprint locations for GPDS host.
  • Fixed issue with the GPM.NET Service Monitor crashing on Windows 7. During startup, Galileo Print Manager.net now searches for a free TCP port until found.
General

Picking a free port.

If Galileo Print Manager.net cannot connect to the port it finds during application startup, it now automatically adds the following key to the GPM_Service.exe.config file:

<add key="GetPortCount" value="10" />

Galileo Print Manager.net will search for a free port (up to ten times) until GPM.NET Service Monitor starts successfully.

Note: Users do not need to change this key.
