Interest Delete

You can use the Interest Delete function to delete an interest from all accounts that currently have the interest.

Notes:

• Using this function permanently removes interests. This operation is not reversible.
• To remove an interest from a particular customer account without affecting other accounts, see Deleting Interests.

To delete an interest from all accounts that have it:

1. On the System submenu, click Interest Delete.

   The Interest Delete screen appears.

   The grid lists all interests that exist in GlobalWare.

2. Select the interest to delete in the grid. (For example, GOLF is selected above.)

3. To list all accounts that have the interest, click SHOW ACCT IDS.

   The Account ID screen appears, listing all accounts that have the interest in the Search Results grid.

4. To review an account and its interest, double-click the account in the grid, or select the account and click EDIT.

   The Edit Customer screen appears.

5. After reviewing the accounts and confirming you want to delete the interest from them, make sure the interest is selected on the Interest Delete screen and click DELETE.

   A message appears, asking you to confirm deleting the interest.

6. Click Yes.

   Another message appears, indicating GlobalWare has deleted the interest.

7. Click OK.
