Text Display For Apollo

Revisions are limited to the following changes:

Application and Other Conditions will be category #0 and not category #50

Consistent with current International text summary, category heading "WHO" will display in a Text Summary but will not show any associated text.  The actual text for "WHO" will be available at a future date.

What

To align the text category numbers and corresponding titles for worldwide fare markets.  This will impact the text menu, text display and the text summary display for Apollo users worldwide.

Background

The text category numbers as well as the category title for International city pairs and North American city pairs are currently different.

Enhancement

With this implementation, GlobalFares® will use the industry standard text category numbers and titles for all fares in worldwide markets. The text content will remain the same, only the numbers and category names will change.

Following is a list of the industry standard category numbers and titles that will be used for all  markets.

Text for a past dated fare display looks the same as text for current or future date fare, with the
exception of the word “HISTORY” being displayed in the header line.

Historical Rules Text

Historical text will be preserved for ATPCO supplied fares, however the category number will be consistent with the new display.

When this change is loaded it will be necessary to begin rebuilding historical text for SITA supplied fares.  Therefore, a historical rule text request on or before December 10, 2002 will result in the following message, just as it does currently, if there is no rules text data available.
