Caution should be
taken whenever powering off a system (PC). Be certain the user has
properly exited Windows prior to powering off the system. Failure to do so
can cause software problems, and may result in lost data or applications
problems when the unit is powered back on.
NOTE: Each
(keyboard or mouse) cable connector has a unique "key" that only
allows the connector to be inserted one way into the system unit. Before
disconnecting the defective keyboard or mouse note the proper orientation
of the "key".
STEP 1: Turn Power Off and Disconnect
Power Cable from the PC.
STEP 2: Disconnect Keyboard or Mouse
Cable from System Unit
STEP 3: Replace Keyboard or
Mouse
DO NOT FORCE THE CONNECTION.
IF THE CABLE CONNECTOR CAN’T BE
INSERTED
1. Remove it
2. Check for proper positioning of the
connector 'key"
3. Reinsert it.
STEP 4: Reconnect Power cable to the
PC , Power on System Unit
STEP 5: Repack Defective Unit
Defective unit should be placed in the
container which the replacement unit was received in
Please reuse the original packing
material to ensure unit will not be damaged in shipment
STEP 6: Fill out Agency information
on Return Shipping Label, and attach to outside of box.
STEP 7: Refer to instructions packed
with Return Shipping label for number to call for pickup of Defective Unit
