Critical FocalpointNet Information

Due to a system upgrade to improve capacity and performance,
an important update will be required for all FocalpointNet users.

The “destination” field must be changed on each workstation per the information
below (and changes “saved”).




The addressing changes to the destination field are as follows:

There may be changes required if you have a firewall (or certain anti-virus packages) to allow access. An indication of this will be a “Banner Text Error” or timing out after a minute without connecting.






Following is some firewall and anti-virus documentation:
1) Trend Micro
2) Norton Anti-Virus
3) Norton Internet Security
4) Zone Alarm


Failure to make these changes could mean significant downtime or
impact to your connection. These changes must be performed immediately!
