Note: If the attach format is in a PRO-file, the rule record attaches to the PNR when you move the PRO-file.

Attach a Rule record RULA  

To Attach Rule Record: Enter:
To a PNR from your Pseudo RULA/ACME
To a PNR from a Branch Pseudo RULAGK5/ACME
Execute a Rule Record RULE

 

To Execute a Rule Record: Enter:
Programmatically ER, HB: QEP, etc.
Manually RULE

Interpret an Enforcement Level

EW End Warning  Reminds you that data is missing or incorrect. You can:

Correct the PNR
Double end transact

EM End Mandatory  You must include the data in the PNR. You can:

Correct the PNR
Suspend the rule record
Cancel the rule record

TM Ticket Mandatory  You must include the data in the PNR before you can ticket. You can:

Correct the PNR
Double end transact (unless ticketing)
Suspend the rule record (you cannot ticket with a suspended rule record)
Cancel the rule record.

 Display   RUL*

To Display: Enter:
Rule record attached to a PNR RUL*
List of rule records RUL*LIST
List of rules within a rule record for your pseudo RUL*/ACME
List of rules within a rule record for a branch pseudo RUL*GK5/ACME
List of rules beginning with the rule number 5 for your pseudo RUL*/ACME/5
List of rules beginning with the rule number 5 for a branch pseudo RUL*GK5/ACME/5

Suspend a Rule Record RULS

To: Enter:
Suspend a rule record RULS
Activate a suspended rule record RULA

Note: You cannot ticket with a suspended rule record.

Cancel a Rule Record RULX

To: Enter
Cancel a rule record RULX
Attach a cancelled rule record for your pseudo RULA/ACME
Attach a cancelled rule record for a branch pseudo RULAGK5/ACME

Issue Itinerary/Invoice Only

To bypass all EW and TM rules and print an itinerary or invoice only, use the HB or HB: format immediately followed by the D modifier (e.g. HB:DID/FS).

The following formats bypass the EW and TM rules:

HB:DID HB:DAD HB:DPD HB:DJD HB:DXD HB:DFX

HBDID HBDAD HBDPD HBDJD HBDXD HBDFX
