| MS Java VM for Galileo eLearning |
Galileo eLearning currently requires Microsoft Java VM (Virtual Machine) be installed on your PC and be the only active Java software running. If your machine is running the Java VM supplied by SUN Microsystems it will not be able to load some course pages.
Note: IF the SUN Microsystems version is already installed, then "uncheck" it in Internet Explorer Tools/Options/Advanced settings. It is OK. to be still installed on your PC, but just needs to be "turned off", not uninstalled, for the e-learning to run successfully.

Note for Viewpoint 3.0 users
Galileo Desktop (Viewpoint 4.0) and Galileo FeeNett utilise Microsoft DotNet technology.
Viewpoint 3.0 workstations may not already have Microsoft DotNet 1.1, or higher, installed.
DotNet needs to be installed first and can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft Website.
Download and install DotNet from the direct site link. When prompted select RUN and accept all links.
If it does not begin downloading successfully select the second link to go to the Microsoft Web site to follow their links. |

Activate the VBS program, which must be saved to disk first, and enter the IP when prompted. Ensure the VPN tunnel is established prior to running this program. |
