Microsoft is upgrading from MSXML4 to MSXML6 in October of 2007. This upgrade will render Galileo Desktop v1.01 unusable. Therefore it is absolutely mandatory for all users of Galileo Desktop v1.01 to upgrade to Galileo Desktop v2.0 before the October 2007 timeline.
Instructions / Information
Galileo Desktop™ incorporates Focalpoint® 4.0, Viewpoint™ 4.0, and Relay™ products into one easy to use 32-bit Desktop Application. You may download Galileo Desktop 1.01 here. Before doing so, please review the minimum system requirements section below for this program.
Galileo Desktop™ 1.01 Minimum Requirements:
Operating System:
The installation wizard of Galileo Desktop™ does some primary install checks and if the operating system fails to meet them the installation will abort. The Galileo Desktop installation wizard will check:

Does the client have Administrative privileges?

Is the screen resolution set at 800X600?

Is the color depth at least 256 colors?

Is there sufficient disk space?

The operating system is Windows® ME or higher.

Internet Explorer is version IE6.0.
Software Requirements
Viewpoint™ 4.0.01 is supported and certified on:
Viewpoint™ 4.01.01 will use Microsoft Internet Explorer installed on the workstation. The minimum version required to install Galileo Desktop 1.01 is: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0. The install will not complete if Microsoft Internet Explorer is not installed, however the Interactive install will provide the option to install Internet Explorer 6.0 from the CD.

Hard disk space: 200 MB during installation, 120MB permanent.
The installation of Viewpoint™ 4.01.01 uses InstallShield™ version 7.0
Viewpoint™ on Windows 2000 is required to have Service Pack 3. This is available in the Additional Software option of the CD. Galileo Desktop 1.01 will not complete its install without Service Pack 3.
Viewpoint™ 4.01.01 is fully compatible with Citrix Servers and available for Terminal Service users. Citrix environments that are supported for Viewpoint™ are:
